There is no airport in the city, but you can access it via the Shivaji International Airport, which is the nearest international airport, located in Mumbai. This will take about 3 hours drive to Igatpuri.
Travelling Igatpuri by Train
You can also get there by the railways and there is a single railway station. The Igatpuri Railway Station (Junction). This station is linked to the major Maharashtra cities. For that, it wouldn’t be such a difficult means to use.
Travelling by train is the most economical way to reach igatpuri from Mumbai. It takes approximate 01 h:40 m to reach Igatpuri from Mumbai.

It stands at the head of Thal Ghat. It is a loco change-over point for trains moving out of Mumbai as well as trains entering Mumbai. The station is famous for its Wada Pav and Idli.
